I love this concise Max DuPree quote:

Areas where I can see improvement for my own life as a leader are:

• making the vision more clear so people know where to plug in and what is expected
• taking time to celebrate victories and point out the great work of the team.  This one is a struggle for me sometimes because its easy to feel like you are just adding “one more thing” to the list of things people are doing, but I know for me, I’ll be working on this one, with having more highlighting of awesome efforts and taking time to have little parties together with recap videos.
